How To Make A Spinach, Apple And Walnut Salad

you need:

Golden Delicious apples
. Fresh lemon juice.

Baby spinach leaves.
Extra virgin olive oil.

Apple cider vinegar.
Honey.

Salt.
Freshly ground pepper.

Goat cheese.
Walnuts, toasted.

Take a couple of Golden Delicious apples or organic apples purchased from local farmers market. Core and slice apples into large cubes pieces. Keep the skin of the apple because it contains many healthy properties, including a source of fiber to help digestion.

Wash baby green spinach in cool running water to remove dirt and pesticides and other potentially carcinogenic or toxic residues. Prepare spinach, remove the long stems and bruised leaves. Easy wipe clean washed spinach and place in refrigerator to cool.

Toss chopped apple pieces in a bowl of freshly squeezed lemon juice. This will help to prevent the apples from turning yellow. To make the dressing by whisking together the rest of the juice, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt and ground pepper to taste.

Remove spinach from the refrigerator and throw it with apples and dressing. Share among four bowls. Cut the goat cheese (feta) and notch up toasted almonds. Toss equal amounts of cheese and almonds over each bowl with spinach and apple.
