Body Mass Index, also known as BMI, is often used to measure whether your weight is in a healthy range. BMI is calculated using your weight and height. There is a way to determine how much fat in your body, and if it is proportional to your body shape. But it does not take into account how the weight is distributed. BMI is often used to shield weight problems that can lead to or cause health problems. It is best to measure the height without shoes on and measuring the weight in the morning before drinking or eating.

Measure your height with a measuring tape to receive a number in inches. Multiply that number by 2.54, then divide the sum by 100 to have your height in meters. This helps to determine BMI.

Take your weight and divide by your height in meters squared to receive your BMI. For example, if weight was 68 kg and height was 1.65 m, multiply 1.65 by 1.65 ,. . Then divide 68 by this amount, which is 2. 72 and you will get 25
