Eating for your skin
Healthy skin is something that everyone wants. . Fad diets aside, eating right can help all of their skin look better. Making some simple changes in everyday diet can lead to surprisingly beautiful skin.
Drinking water is one of the easiest steps towards a healthier diet and beautiful skin. Most sources recommend that people drink 8 to 10 glasses of water each day. The Institute of Medicine recommends that the average man drink about 13 glasses of water each day, or about 3 liters, and the average woman drinks about nine glasses of water each day, or about 2 liters. Daily exercise, high heat or humidity, or other external circumstances may make this level of consumption varies. Drinking water hydrates your body on the inside, and this hydration makes the skin less dry and can also lead to “glow” that many covet.
There are many antioxidants-heavy fruit and vegetables to add a healthy skin diet. Antioxidants have a positive effect on the appearance of the skin, and can prevent skin damage from free radicals. Fruits and vegetables high in antioxidants include plums, dark berries stained and artichokes.
Avoid foods that are heavily processed or grown with chemicals will make your skin happy. Eating seasonally and shopping in the local market or in a store that has the whole, natural food will allow you to eat what is grown locally and in season at the moment. Lean meats and low-fat dairy products are great for your skin. Avoid cigarettes, refined sugars, caffeine, alcohol and will always improve the appearance of skin and make your body healthier, too.
