I want to change an oatmeal cookie recipe substitute “white” products for whole grains, and reducing saturated fats. You need:.
Brown Sugar

vanilla yogurt.

pure vanilla extract.

baking soda.
baking soda.


whole wheat flake cereal.
shredded coconut.

Pre-Heat oven to 375 degrees

Mix with electric mixer, a cup of light brown sugar with 1/4 cup real butter and 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt and 1 egg to thoroughly combined. Add vanilla

Pre-grind 1 cup of oatmeal into flour, set aside. Mix 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon baking soda and 1/4 teaspoon salt groat flour. Set aside

Stir in the rest of the 1 cup whole oats, 1 cup whole wheat flake cereal and 1/2 cup shredded coconut


Mix all dry ingredients in the wet ingredients. The dough is stiff
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on lightly sprayed cookie sheet. Bake until set but not hard, about 9-11 minutes. Cool about 3 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
