Millions of women worldwide are overweight. There are countless “lose weight fast” diets and diet supplement pills, liquids and foods which guarantees that you can lose weight. The truth is that there is no quick fix when it comes to dieting, but you can lose weight and keep it off by following some sensible tips

Avoid Emotional Eating
Avoid eating when you are upset or angry. You will not make good food choices because the primary thing on your mind is the situation that led to your emotions to get out of control. Drink a glass of water and take a few deep breaths. This will help you calm down and prevent overeating of unhealthy foods.

Eat healthy foods
Avoid all foods with saturated fat, such as sausages, sausages, bacon, milk, cheese, ice cream, cakes, pies and regular mayonnaise and salad dressings. Use unsaturated vegetable oils such as olive oil for cooking and salad dressings. Snack on healthy fruits and vegetables instead of potato chips, pretzels and candy. Eat poultry without skin instead of red meat. Buy unsweetened, no-fat (not low-fat) yogurt and mix it with a few almonds and berries for dessert. Always eat at least three meals a day. You can eat five or six smaller meals, but you need ongoing nutrition for the body to be healthy. Never skip breakfast. It sets up your metabolism to get a jump-start to a busy day. Choose oatmeal or whole-grain breads and cereals, and avoid white bread products altogether.

Make a shopping list
Make a list before going grocery shopping. Impulse Buy while the store is common. That’s why stores put candy, for example, the checkout stand. By making a list and stick to it, you will be more likely to make healthy food choices at the store.

Set small goals
Set small goals when on a diet. Write them on sticky notes and post them all over the house. Say them out loud while driving or doing other activities. You can say, “I will lose 5 pounds.” This is a positive confirmation that helps you focus on an available target.

Take a Walk
Take a 30 minute walk every day to add exercise to your routine. If you go in the morning, you will have more energy during the day. Exercise is crucial when it comes to dieting. Without it, you can lose pounds, but you will have slack muscles.

Work and Eating Out
Create your own lunches to take to work. Pack energy foods such as blueberries, oranges, carrots, grilled chicken, unsalted almonds and sunflower seeds. Add a green salad that has at least seven vegetables. If you must eat out, for healthy foods like salmon, fresh fruit, salads and vegetables. Drink lots of water instead of alcohol, coffee, soda or soda.
