Fluids
The body needs eight 8-ounce glasses of water each day. Many people think that if they drink soda, coffee, juice or milk as they meet their daily fluid requirement. Unfortunately this is not the case. Make sure you drink your daily requirement of water to replenish your fluids. Water will hydrate your body, making your metabolism faster, which will help the body to burn calories and fat.

Exercise
Start moving your body as much as possible, including starting a regular exercise plan. Find an exercise that you enjoy, such as walking, yoga, aerobics classes or cycling. When you can take pleasure in fitness, it will help you stick with it. Start by exercising 30 minutes a day at least three days a week. Over time, you can increase the frequency to one hour a day.
