Select plan that works best for you. There are two main eating plans outlined in baskets book. The Carb-Sensitive Plan dramatically reduces the number of carbohydrates you eat daily, the Calorie-Sensitive Plan restricts caloric intake.
Expect to follow a low carb eating plan. On both plans, you are expected to cut out bread, pasta, whole grains and certain fruits.
Reduce fat intake too. You want to rely on lean protein to get your body fat is needed. Chicken, fish and turkey can be consumed in large quantities.
Follow the two phases of the diet. The first phase lasts two weeks and allows you to eat about 1,200 calories a day. You follow the second phase until you reach your weight loss goals. You can have 1,600 calories a day during this phase.
