With both of these low-carb diets diabetes it is important to ensure that the whole grains are less than 25 percent of your meals. The ideal meals on a low-carb diet should be 50 percent fruits and vegetables, 25 percent meat or dairy products, and 25 percent high-fiber whole grains.
