Eat what you want every 18 days. Yes, you read correctly for one day every 18 days, over indulge on everything that your heart desires. The reason this works is that the body can become too accustomed to a routine. Eat the same amount of calories in each small meal will help you lose weight initially, but eventually you will hit a plateau. Breaking through this diet plateau by having a non-diet day every 18 days.

Change the environment around you to see a jump in weight loss. A simple change to go from the heat of being inside the cool evening weather outside is enough to boost your metabolism to help you lose weight. Do this a couple times a day to recharge the body and weight loss.

Eat small meals every two to three hours. Eating actually increases your internal body temperature. The increasing body temperature actually burns calories. During the day those calories can add up to a major weight loss. To ensure that you lose weight, keep these meals small, so you do not take in too many calories a day.

Get rid of daily stress. Stress can be detrimental to your weight loss goals in a number of ways. People who are under a lot of stress tend to eat more. They pick and snacks to try to make themselves feel better. Stress can also cause the body to build up fat around your midsection.
