Thoughts
Wow….That is all I have to say. I thought I did particularly well last week as far as eating & exercising. Granted I didn’t track to well last week but that was mainly because I ate as a vegetarian all week so I really didn’t see the need. I never overate and I didn’t even eat a lot of junk. So really I don’t know what is going on with my body.
RUT-BUSTING TIME!
So I am stuck in a rut! It’s obvious that my body is trying to stabilize in the 250′s. For some reason or another this is comfortable for my body. Too bad I am NOT HAPPY! All of March I have been in between 255-252. Why? I have no clue but i am currently wracking my brain trying to figure it out. I have become more lax on my tracking all foods that enter my body so my first pledge is to re-commit myself to tracking daily my calories & exercise. I also have become a bit lax on the exercise front. I have been using C25K as my only exercise but obviously it’s not enough. So my 2nd pledge is to re-vamp my exercise regimen. This will include doing more exercise in general as well as introducing new exercises in to my routine on a daily basis. I have also joined a challenge over at Nerdy Science Mommy to lose 10lbs by Memorial Day (which also happens to be 2 days after my birthday). With all these things I hope to get out of the 250′s before April is over and hopefully give my body the kickstart it needs.
C25K.
I am currently in week 4 of C25K. I have finished day 2 and tomorrow I will finish day 3. I will not lie, it is getting hard. The 5 min runs are really kinking my butt. Although I feel if I really needed to go a bit futher I believe I would be able to swing it. This is crazy to me, never did I think I’d be doing any running at all.
I don’t know if anyone was worried about me but if you were, don’t worry I am here! I haven’t abandoned my goals. I really just needed to take a break and reassess the situation.

I know you didn’t abandon your goal I just love to read/follow your blog and c25k progress
Great job by the way!! And don’t stop! Never stop! Once I got past the 5 minute runs that was the hard hump for me and everything after that seemed better. I will never say “easier” because running it’s “easy.” But damn it’s fun once you get the hang of it
You’re doing great and take it from me having run for 25 minutes yesterday “it’s easier to keep running then to pick up from between run/walks.” Seriously they just do that so you build endurance so work your butt off and it will all be sooo worth it!!

Stopping by from Healthy You! You can doooo iiiitt! Hoping you’ll see some movement in the other direction next week!
Sounds like you just need to wake your body up with some cardio. Maybe pick one day a week to do fast/slow intervals for your running. It’s a huge calorie burner, and it improves your running.
