Yes 8 lbs of baby weight off! Last week was a crazy week. Between New Years, the big kids returning back to school, trying to get a routine going etc life was crazy. I managed to track all week which was great. Granted I had to go back some days and make sure I input everything but in the end it was worth it because it definitely kept me accountable.
I was able to attend 1 Zumba class and I about died. I mean it’s getting better but it was a class with both of my Zumba teachers and when they teach together they definitely bring out the big guns. I felt great after so thats a plus. Other than Zumba I managed to get in a few 2 mile walks during lunch and make sure I walk up my stairs at least once a day. When I’m home I like to do curls with the baby. He’s about 15 lbs (maybe more we’ll see next week) so a couple of reps gets him laughing and me sweating.
My bf and I decided to start doing a cleanse before we delve into clean eating. This is day one and I already failed because I ate 2 pieces of wheat toast this morning along with a piece of Frittata (recipe found here). Now this isn’t a crazy cleanse we can eat everything except meat, white potatoes,bread, sugar, white rice. So it’s unlimited fruits/veggies. Along with beans, some yogurt (limited), brown rice etc. I started making some curried lentil burgers last night and I’ll probably make some chana masala to hold me over until the week is done.
Hopefully I’ll come up with some good recipes to post soon. Until then I’m hoping this week is as good as last week. I had a really hard time getting up this morning. Cannot wait next monday is MLK day and I have it off plus it’s Xander’s 4 month anniversary of his birth. My baby is getting so big and the time is flying! Hopefully that day off will give me some much needed rest and relaxation!
